is hosting the 17th Annual Baltimore/Washington Area Government Procurement Fair

Building on the tremendous success of the previous 16 Procurement Fairs, the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber is once again hosting the 17th Annual Baltimore/Washington Area Government Procurement Fair, to be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at the same location as last year’s Procurement Fair, the Greenbelt Marriott, 6400 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, MD, 20770, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. (Access for Exhibitors is at 7:00 a.m.).

We are extending invitations to Government Agencies and Prime Contractors in our region to participate as exhibitors and as counselors. Your time is valuable. Let us help you make your outreach efforts successful. We are expecting over 500 current and potential vendors to attend.

This is an excellent opportunity for the procurement officials from your agency or company to meet with prospective vendors in an environment where information can be exchanged with a large number of people in a minimal amount of time. Many of the attendees are minority, women, service-disabled or disadvantaged-owned companies. Individuals attending the Fair will learn first-hand what steps are necessary to do business with government agencies, what criteria is used in selecting vendors and make valuable personal contacts with buyers from government agencies and prime contractors.
